Grace Gospel Hour Led by Carol Mapp

> Bluegrass, or mountain music, was born in the hills of Appalachia in the early 20th century and gradually made its way into church pews throughout America. Along with gospel music, it has become a unique and treasured art form.

> For those of you who participated in a similar event, you know how fun and uplifting it is! And we get to sing the great old songs. Come and greet your church neighbors on Thursday June 3, 2010 from 7:00-8:30 as we sing songs from a simpler time. A huge bonus will be cobbler and ice cream for our parched throats!

Under Construction!  Please Excuse our Mess!

During the week of May 16, the Nursery (Room 101) and Toddlers Room (102) will be undergoing renovation.  We will be replacing the original carpet in both Rooms 101 and 102.  We will be repainting the walls and replacing the counter tops in Room 101 as well as replacing the tile in the bathroom connecting the two rooms.

For more details about our vision to update the children’s rooms, see the poster board on the wall outside of those rooms.

A detailed schedule will be published during the week – any/all are invited to help us in this effort.  Contact Frank Bauerle (frbauerle@yahoo.com or 817.705.6856) if you are interested in helping.

DOORS AND LIGHTS!  Please remember when you come to the church for a meeting once everyone gets inside lock the doors, there has been a couple of incidents of strangers wondering the hallways.  Please turn all lights off when leaving the building.  Thank you!
