Last Sunday for Elder Nominations!

The Officer Nominating Ministry is accepting nominations for the Elder Class of 2012.  The nomination forms and box are located on the table outside the church office.  Nominations will be accepted through Sunday, September 6.  Please prayerfully consider hearing God’s call to serve Grace and self nominate.

The first Women of Grace General Meeting will be September 10 at 7:00 p.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church.  We invite all the women of the church, (and their friends!) young and old, middle-aged and empty nesters to come for FUN! FOOD! Our friends at Westminster Presbyterian are hosting a concert presented by the Texas Girls Choir on Sunday, September 13 at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free and all are welcome.  The church is located at 1330 S. Fielder, Arlington, 76013.

          COOKBOOKS FOR SALE

That’s right!  Our all-church cookbook will be on sale in the narthex following the first service and before and after the second service until all are gone. These make great Christmas gifts!  If you buy 3 cookbooks for $15 each, the price then drops to $13 for the rest when purchased at the same time!  Also, we have mailing boxes for $1.00 and Sheet Protectors for 25 cents each.  If you have questions, you can also call or email: Becky Menti @ bmenti@att.net.  Be sure to tell all your friends about our cookbook!

          College Students

The school year has started and the College & Careers Sunday School Class is in need of each of our college/seminary/law students contact information.  We would like to stay in contact with each of them by sending cards on their birthdays and words of encouragement.

The Pastoral Care Ministry has posted a board of college students similar to the one of our military people, so please supply us with a photo.
